Miss Angie's music is a fun, kid's concert that features shadow puppets.
Miss Angie Beeler was born into a musical family in the tiny town of Russell, NY. She enjoys performing many different styles of music, as reflected in the wonderful variety included in Miss Angie's Music classes. Blues, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Hip-Hop, Punk Rock, Hardcore, Country, Rock-a-Billy, Folk, and Mariachi are a few of the styles which Miss Angie has studied and performed... and the list goes on!
Miss Angie began teaching music to kids in 2003 in Boulder, CO. There Angie successfully completed the Music Together® Training Workshop developed by the Center for Music and Young Children, Princeton, New Jersey, and taught for Music Together Boulder. After her son's birth in 2007, she began focusing her energies on creating her own curriculum which developed, five years later, into what is now Miss Angie's Music!
Leon Arguello snuck his first guitar out of the closet at the age of 15. Since then has expanded his musical horizons to include drums, bass, piano, violin, and banjo. He also DJs at our local community radio station WRFI (among other places), and owns and operates Distant Relative Music. He is the man behind the music of Miss Angie's Music and is Miss Angie's beloved husband.
